Leadership Education – Can Your Children Possibly Become the Movers and the Shakers of the Future?

Friday, November 27th, 2009

I don’t only believe they can, I believe it’s their destiny.

Every time I watch little children I am stunned over and over again by their incredible capacity to soak in this new experience called life. They seem to assimilate huge amounts of information in so little time, growing exponentially and without prejudice in any direction life challenges them to go.

Truly, children are born geniuses. All of them. As a matter of fact, every person you have ever met is a genius. We live in a world of geniuses. It is what we are here for.

Our call in this world goes beyond surviving the odds as good as we can. We are called to develop ourselves adequately and to leave a legacy, to reach out into a hurting world and make it a better place to live in.

Each little child is fashioned for greatness. And each one of them is called to impact this world for good and to become an effective leader for tomorrow’s generation.

Yes, greatness is not beyond the reach of any child. And depending on the education they’ll receive, they will develop their genius to a higher or lesser degree.

That makes the goal of any educational method very simple. The word education comes from the Latin word educare, which means “to draw out.” True education will draw out a child’s genius. Period.

But what does that type of effective education look like? Throughout the history mankind this question has been answered in a myriad of different ways.

I personally believe that education cannot be put into a box. A good education allows the individual greatness of each child to emerge and develop. Therefore it looks very different from one child to the other.

Each one of them is a unique little person endued with a distinctive combination of God-given skills and talents that were placed there to fulfill the task they were called to accomplish here on earth.

And each one needs a tailor-made education to grow into what they were born to become.

We as parents have the responsibility to equip them with an education that will effectively prepare them for the challenges and opportunities of their generation.

Each generation faces its own share of crisis. And each crisis will instantly demand effective leadership. We as parents have to ask ourselves, “Will our children be ready to adopt the position of leadership they were destined for?”

So, how can we settle for anything less but the best education?

Six crucial things house movers must do

Tuesday, August 11th, 2009
Moving house can be an absolute nightmare! But before you start stressing over where to store the china, make sure you’ve ordered the serious stuff first.

The move is said that up there with the debt, divorce and death as a life more stressful events.

Personally, I think it’s a bit melodramatic – but the whole heart agree that moving can be a chaotic experience.

It’s easy to get so caught up in the fuss of packing that you forget to address important issues such as insurance.

In this article I will explain six steps drivers should continue to house to make sure you are prepared for life in their new home.

1. Protect your property

The only way you can really relax in your new home is whether their property and belongings are protected.

Therefore, when you move house, it is vital to ensure that your property from the date of the contracts are exchanged.

There are two types of insurance available to home insurance for buildings and contents insurance.

Buildings insurance covers the cost of damage to the structure of your property. Moreover, the insurance covers everything inside the house.

It is essential to calculate precisely how much worth your belongings before you buy contents insurance. If you are poor may not be fully covered if you need to make a claim, whereas if overinsure you could end up paying unnecessarily high premiums.

Whatever type of insurance you’re looking for, always worth taking the time to shop online for the best deal.

It is also a good idea to check that any company that uses the transfer is adequately insured so that your property is fully protected while in transit!

2. Make sure your home is secure

Home insurance policy all prices are based on risk assessment. Therefore, improving the security of your home could help reduce the cost of your premium.

Here are my top six safety tips:

* Join a system of neighborhood watch.
* Install an alarm or security system recognized by your insurance.
* Adjust the lighting for safety.
* Replace old locks on their doors with five lever mortise locks.
* Fit window locks key.
* Check that there are no holes in your walls.

Note that, following some of these tips could cost money in the short term. It may take a few years of the reduction in home insurance premiums for you to recover your original spend.

However, in the meantime you will have peace of mind knowing that your property is secure.

3. Switch to save

Before you move home, inform your supplier of energy that is leaving. This should ensure that you are not billed for energy used by new occupants after they have left.

Then, once you’re in your new property, notify the existing energy supplier and inform them of reading. Again, this will avoid having to pay for the energy that you have not used.

When you call to request that future bills will be sent to the property in his name, it’s likely that you will come to their energy supplier for the standard rate. These plans are often expensive, as energy companies usually reserve their best deals for new customers.

Therefore, it is a good idea to make a comparison of energy prices as soon as possible to find out how much you can save by changing supplier.

Remember, the longer it takes to get your skates on and organize a switch, the longer you are stuck with an expensive standard rate. It could take four to six weeks for his new plan to enter into force, so it is important not to delay.

4. Cover your car

The price of your car insurance will be affected by where you live. For this reason, the move can make a difference to the amount of the premium cost.

When you move, you should contact your insurer of automobiles and inform them of your new address. If not, your policy may become invalid and your insurer may refuse to pay in the event you have an accident – he stops paying the bill.

The price of the premium may go up or down, depending on where your new property. However, it is always better to be honest with your insurer as soon as circumstances change to prevent problems later in the line.

5. How to pay for his painting

According to recent research from Halifax, people spend an average of £ 8,100 in home improvements (not including the addition of space) during the first two years of life in their home.

If you know your house needs a lot of work, it is important to consider how you will finance.

A 0% purchase card will allow you to spread the cost of purchasing more than one side of a period of time without charging interest for the privilege.

However, 0% of purchases are only an introduction. This means that if you do not pay your balance in full before the offer expires, you will be affected by high interest charges.

If this can affect you – perhaps because he was spending a significant amount – you may want to consider choosing a market leader in place of personal loans.

6. Protect your life

If you own a house with a friend or companion and you move house, you need to make sure your life insurance policy covers their combined share of the new mortgage.

If you have moved to a larger or more expensive home, you will probably need your level of coverage. Remember, it’s important to have adequate life insurance in place, otherwise, if you, your partner, housemate or could apply for the full range of mortgage debt.

Alternatively, if your property has been reduced, you may not need to cover quite as much life and therefore could save money on your premiums by comparing offers.

A move may have coincided with an upturn in their lifestyle, which is another reason to reconsider your need for life insurance. You must ensure that any charges that have been able to maintain this new level of life in the event that you are no longer around.

Should I Hire a Mover?

Wednesday, July 1st, 2009
Moving is inevitable, whether or not to hire a motor is the question. If you have accumulated a lot of things you already know you have a great task ahead. Now is the time to decide how to get it all from A to B. The main considerations are: money, time and willingness to let other people touch your stuff. Must take into account that other people take charge of your precious possessions that you do not have complete control. Read on for advice on how to survive the big day: moving day!

Test 1: Who’s packing all this stuff?

In most cases, the answer to this question is for you and who else is moving with you. If you really have little time or money around, you might consider moving to the professional packing for you. If the drivers do the whole package then they are responsible for any damage to your belongings. If you do some or all of the packaging, the engine can pretend that a box was filled incorrectly, if it falls or breaks. The benefit to you is the packaging that you know when everything is starting to unpack. A bit of advice is to keep a treasure box of your most expensive items to yourself. This may be your important financial documents, expensive jewelry or things that have deep meaning for you. One such move accidentally took cash during the first step of a staff member Apartments.com. She ended up spending the whole of the first night in their new place to go through each search box that contained her father’s wedding band which I found by luck. To avoid this panic, make sure your “box” is clearly labeled and kept out of the stack of boxes that will inevitably move.

Consideration 2: What is going to cost me?

Local movements, which moves around less than 100 miles within the same state, is billed by the hour. Intrastate moves (100 miles or more in the same state) and moving interstate (between states) are billed by a guy who always must be determined before the move date. Collect several types of engines using the phonebook or online. Do not accept the fees online or by phone. It is better to have the engine come to your home in person to give you an estimate and you should always obtain a written copy. Check the history of each engine to do with the Better Business Bureau. If this is an important step, try to get a minimum of three estimates so that you have some options. Initiate this process in a few months before moving to get the best possible prices and ensure the date you want to move.
